Public masses of no more than 50 participants have resumed.
Critically, if you are in a vulnerable category (i.e., older adult, 65 years and older; person who is immunocompromised), you may desire to remain home during this stage of reopening and continue to participate in Mass through our Facebook page.
Anyone who is ill, or suspects he or she is ill, should refrain from participation in public activities, including Mass. In addition, in light of CDC monitoring recommendations, anyone who arrives at the church and is exhibiting symptoms may be asked not to attend Mass out of an abundance of care and caution for others.
Masks are required for all those attending Mass. Additional modifications include:
• Required social distancing.
• Required hand sanitizing upon entering the church.
• Required adherence to established protocols for the taking up of collection and the reception of Holy Communion.
• Required following of routes established to and from the sanctuary during the Communion rite and for departing the church (including dismissal by pews) at the end of Mass.
• The sign of peace is not being offered at Masses, and parishioners are asked not to hold hands during the Our Father.
Beginning Sunday, September 6, 2020, parishioners may receive communion from our Eucharistic ministers in their cars. The 9:30am, 11am and 1pm masses are streamed lived on Facebook. You may watch the mass in your car and then receive communion with your mask on! Put your hazard lights on so we know you wish to receive.
